MANGANESE FERROALLOYS

High Carbon Ferromanganese

This product is a highly versatile and frequently used manganese ferroalloy in steel manufacturing. The manganese content in this ferroalloy boosts the mechanical properties and hardenability of steel, while also enhancing its resistance to abrasion. HC FeMn is applied across various industries, with its primary uses being in the production of steels for structural components, hot-rolled sheets, and plates.

Medium Carbon Ferromanganese

This product is classified as Refined Ferromanganese, commonly used in the manufacturing of low-carbon, high-strength, and ductile steels. It enhances the efficiency of welding steels and deep drawing steels. Its primary applications include the production of cold-rolled sheets, low-carbon slabs, and welding and automotive wire rods.

Low Carbon Ferromanganese

This specialized ferromanganese is primarily utilized in the production of ultra-low carbon steels and austenitic stainless steels. These materials are known for their exceptional resistance to high-temperature deformation, making them ideal for applications such as exhaust valves in internal combustion engines.

Silicomanganese

This ferroalloy's unique combination of silicon and manganese imparts exceptional metallurgical properties, making it highly sought after in Mini-Mills. Silicon acts as an efficient deoxidizing agent, contributing to its widespread use in manufacturing pipes, structural shapes, rebars, hot-rolled sheets, and plates.

Nitrided Medium Carbon Ferromanganese

Nitrided Medium Carbon Ferromanganese stands out for its low carbon content and nitrogen addition. This ferroalloy is primarily utilized in manufacturing steel for automotive components and structural plates that require high strength and excellent weldability.

Manganese Nodules

Manganese Nodules are a one-of-a-kind product globally and serve as an ideal raw material for producing manganese alloys. These nodules, being semi-reduced (MnO), require less carbon for complete reduction, significantly reducing gas emissions during production. Their unique properties provide notable benefits to the ferroalloy industry, including lower electricity, coke, and electrode consumption, as well as enhanced process stability, minimizing the risk of explosions.

Manganese Carbonate

This product is a natural manganese ore known for its consistent chemical composition and homogeneity. It is commonly used by integrated steelmakers to boost manganese content in pig iron, promoting the formation of fluid slag in the oxygen converter. This helps prevent scab buildup on the oxygen lance and converter mouth, ensuring smoother and more efficient operations.
